Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni will name his squad on Monday for the upcoming double header against Nigeria and Bulgaria.

Ireland face Nigeria in an end of season friendly at Craven Cottage, London on Friday, 29th May.

Then there is the serious business of a World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria in Sofia on Saturday, 6th June.

The Irish squad will not be assembling in Ireland for these games and will base much of their training at Arsenal’s training ground.

While some players will undoubtedly miss the Fulham game through possible end of season commitments with their clubs, Trapattoni’s chief worry will still rest on whether Kevin Doyle can be passed fit to play ahead of the crunch game in Bulgaria.
