Ireland down eight places in FIFA list

The Republic of Ireland senior international side has slipped eight places in the latest FIFA World Rankings list.
Giovanni Trapattoni’s team are now World ranked 34th – while Northern Ireland have climbed a massive fifteen places to 27th.
Spain continue to lead the list while qualifying opponents Italy are 5th. Bulgaria are 20th, Cyprus are 74th, Georgia are 109th and Montenegro are 117th.
