Anthony Stokes is a late addition to the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of Saturday’s game against Bulgaria.

The striker, currently on loan to Crystal Palace from Sunderland, flew into Dublin late last night and will take part in squad training in Malahide this afternoon.

Stokes is the only announced addition to the squad following the Damien Duff’s withdrawal yesterday due to a hamstring injury.
