O’Shea and Judge down Spain

Jay O’Shea and Alan Judge struck in either half to give Ireland’s under-21 side an impressive 2-1 win at Waterford’s RSC as they prepare for the start of competitive action next week. Spain grabbed a goal back midway through the second half to leave for a nervous finish for Ireland.
Don Givens’ side are due to face Turkey on Tuesday night in the first game of their European Championship qualifying campaign at Turner’s Cross, Cork. Tonight’s beaten opponents are continuing their preparations for the finals of the current Euro under-21 championship, while Givens’ side are already setting out on the new campaign.
