Republic of Ireland senior international manager Giovanni Trapattoni will next week name his squad for the upcoming crucial double header World Cup qualification games.

The Italian will name his squad for the games against Bulgaria and Italy in Dublin on Monday morning (16th March). The focus will again no doubt fall on whether or not Stephen Ireland or Andy Reid are included.

League of Ireland fans will be waiting to see if Keith Fahey’s recent transfer to English side Birmingham City from Saint Patrick’s Athletic sparks his first senior call-up.
